You always made me feel loved and accepted, whether I showed up on your door in Québec as a bratty 16-year-old with a blue mohawk or invited myself for an extended stay with a carload of misfits. You never judged or criticized, just embraced me for who I was and showed a genuine interest in my thoughts and wellbeing and path in life. I don't think you knew how much your calm presence helped me through a couple of rough stretches. I thought I would have more time to tell you. Your openness, curiosity about the world, and gentle rebellious spirit - these are the things I will remember you by and cherish.
What a beautiful tribute and fantastic photo. Thank you. My dad absolutely adored you and was so proud of you and your family. Sending love to you all 💖
